Whether you are an intended parent or a surrogate, when you embark on a journey with STS, we promise to be beside you every step of the way. We promise to educate, lead and guide you through your surrogacy journey. We will work tirelessly to help you achieve success and fulfill your dream.
At STS, we have the highest level of dedication to building families than any other agency. We’ll help you navigate the road, smooth the bumps, and cheer when we reach our destination. Every person who works at STS is dedicated to doing everything they can to help you build your family.
The length of the process depends on several factors. We typically tell intended parents that they should plan on a year and a half from the time they sign on with our agency until they have a child, although it can be quicker or longer depending on the legal requirements involved and the course of the IVF treatment. If you have embryos already created, then the process is quicker.
There are two types of surrogacy—gestational surrogacy and traditional surrogacy. In a typical gestational surrogacy arrangement, intended parents create embryos through in vitro fertilization. One or more of these embryos is implanted in a surrogate (sometimes known as a gestational carrier), who carries the child or children, but has no genetic relationship to them. Gestational surrogacies makeup the vast majority of modern surrogacy arrangements.
Traditional surrogates typically become pregnant through artificial insemination, and have a genetic connection to the child or children they carry for their intended parents. At STS, we only provide gestational surrogacy services.

Becoming a parent through surrogacy can be a complicated process that involves a variety of steps, including matching with a surrogate, handling legal matters, managing costs, navigating relationships, and smoothing out any bumps along the way. The right agency can help you navigate the entire journey and limit your stress and uncertainty.
We have a screening process that all surrogates must pass before matching with intended parents. First, candidates go through a pre-screening consultation that includes review of their health and pregnancy history. Next, a candidate’s medical records are screened to make sure their prior pregnancies were uncomplicated. The final step is completing a background check. We find that most of our surrogates are actually referred to us!
Your preferences regarding the number of embryos transferred and selective reduction are taken into consideration before you match with a surrogate to ensure your wishes align.

Agency fees can very (as you may have seen while researching agency’s). These fees generally are between $30,000-$65,000 USD and sometimes more. We are proud to be able to have our set agency fee at $45,000 USD. This includes finding, records screening, background checks, psychological reviews, MFM clearance, matching to a surrogate, continual guidance, information and service throughout your journey, support events, one on one support, and gifts to your surrogate throughout your journey.
If you find your own surrogate, we provide various levels of support and guidance. Our agency fee is also discounted.
